PART ONE — A LETTER TO THE PEOPLE OF IFE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

To the sons and daughters of Oduduwa's ancient town; to the farmers who rise before dawn to work the land that feeds us; to the market women who open their stalls before the town wakes; to the students filling our lecture halls and classrooms; to the artisans, workers and elders who keep this constituency running quietly every day; and to every family holding our communities together. I write to you not as a stranger seeking your trust, but as a son of this soil returning to answer its call.

I was born here. I was raised here. And whatever I have become, this land shaped it. I have watched Ile-Ife carry the weight of history as the cradle of Yoruba civilization, while too many across Ife Federal Constituency wait too long for the constituency we all dream of having.

That gap between what Ife Federal Constituency represents and what many of our communities currently receive is why I am putting myself forward to serve.

This Manifesto is not a list of slogans. It is a working plan, built around problems I can identify, responsibilities I can pursue and commitments you can measure. It is the product of listening to elders, to traders, to farmers, to young people searching for opportunity, and to persons living with disability who are too often left out of the conversation entirely. I ask you to read it, question it, and hold me to it.

To Ife Federal Constituency, I bring Ìtèsíwájú. It is not just a word for progress, and it is not a slogan — it is a standard, and that is my promise to you.

PART TWO — WHO I AM

My name is Oluwatosin Odunayo Eluwole. I am a proud son of Ile-Ife, born into the Eluwole family of Lukoye Compound, where I was raised on values that have never left me: integrity, hard work, fairness, service, accountability, and respect for others. I believe that whatever position life gives a person, that person must never forget the community that shaped them.

My education began at home, at Seventh-day Adventist Primary and Secondary School, and continued at Oladimeji International School, both here in Ile-Ife. I went on to study Industrial Mathematics at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, before returning to Ile-Ife to pursue postgraduate studies in Economics at Obafemi Awolowo University, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.

My education has given me more than certificates. Outside the classroom, I found my calling in entrepreneurship and business development, building strategic partnerships and supporting the growth of opportunities within Nigeria's technology sector. That experience taught me how to turn plans into results, manage resources with discipline, and work with people from vastly different backgrounds toward a shared goal.

Despite the opportunities and experiences that have taken me beyond Ile-Ife, I have never lost sight of home. I believe our young people deserve real opportunities to build meaningful lives here, not just abroad. I believe our families deserve stronger support systems. I believe our communities deserve representation that shows up between elections, not only during them. And I believe politics must ultimately be about people and public service, not personal gain.

PART THREE — THE STATE OF IFE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY TODAY

Ife Federal Constituency spans four local government areas and one area office — Ife Central, Ife East, Ife North, Ife South and the Area Office of Modakeke covering over 1,900 square kilometres. It is a constituency of towns, villages, farming settlements, educational institutions, businesses and communities with different needs but a shared future.

It hosts one of Africa's foremost universities, sits at the centre of centuries of Yoruba history and cultural heritage, and has a significant agricultural and commercial base, yet many of its people still struggle with the most basic need for a decent life. Interestingly, Ife Federal Constituency has hardworking people, but we lack the economic and political will that would consistently give our people the infrastructure, institutions and opportunities they need to succeed.

Independent investigations into primary healthcare across Ife Federal Constituency have repeatedly found clinics that exist on paper but are missing equipment, medicines, or adequate staff. Our farmers, the backbone of communities across Ife North and Ife South especially, still largely work with hand tools on land that could produce far more with basic mechanization and lose a share of their harvest every season simply because the road from farm to market is unfit for purpose.

Our market women, the engine of daily commerce in our community, continue to trade in the sun and rain along roadsides for lack of proper, organized market infrastructure, and rarely have access to the small, affordable credit that would let them grow their businesses. And too often, our conversation about development leaves out entire groups of people altogether: persons with disabilities, autistic children and adults, and other members of our community who deserve to be planned for, not merely pitied.

Underneath all of this sits a quieter problem: a weak and inconsistent link between representation and the represented. A constituent should not have to wait until another election before being able to ask a question, report a problem or know what their representative has done. That is why accountability and accessibility will sit at the center of this mandate.

Ife Federal Constituency is blessed with enormous human, economic, agricultural and cultural resources. From our energetic young people and hardworking entrepreneurs to our farmers, artisans, professionals and students, and most importantly, our extraordinary heritage as the cradle of Yoruba civilization, Ife possesses the ingredients for sustainable development.

My vision is to use the platform of the Federal House of Representatives to pursue:

• Purposeful representation
• Practical legislation
• Effective oversight
• Strategic advocacy
• Responsible constituency development
• Transparent engagement
• Measurable results

This is the ÌTÈSÍWÁJÚ Agenda for 2027 to 2031.

PART SIX — A CALL TO ACTION

Ife Federal Constituency does not lack potentials. It lacks nothing that hard work, honest planning and consistent follow-through cannot fix. What this constituency has lacked is representation that treats every promise as a debt to be repaid, not a slogan to be forgotten.

I am not asking you to believe me because I hold a doctorate, or because I have built businesses, or because my name carries the values of Lukoye Compound. I am asking you to hold me to this document, every commitment, every number, long after the votes are counted.

Ìtèsíwájú is not a campaign slogan. It is a direction. Let us walk it together.

CONCLUSION: A NEW COMMITMENT TO IFE

My aspiration is to see an Ife Federal Constituency where our youths have opportunities, our students have access to education, our farmers can move their produce to market, our traders and artisans can grow their businesses, our rural communities are connected, our entrepreneurs can access capital and markets, and every constituent can confidently say that their representative listens, speaks for them and works for their development.

This agenda is not a promise that one individual can solve every problem. It is a commitment to use the constitutional responsibilities of a Federal Representative — legislation, oversight, advocacy and constituency engagement — to pursue practical solutions and measurable development.

Together, we can build a constituency where opportunity is not a privilege for a few, but a possibility for many.

May Almighty God grant us the wisdom, strength and opportunity to serve our people faithfully.
